Inaugural Flight Ceremony of JEJU Air for Macau – Seoul Service

JEJU Air commenced flight service between Macau and Seoul on 30th October 2016, offering daily flight service between the two cities. The inaugural flight ceremony was held at Macau International Airport (MIA) with the presence of the guests including: Mr. Simon Chan President of Macau Civil Aviation Authority, Ms Cecilia Tse Heng Sai Acting Director of Macau Government Tourism Office, Mr. Lee Seok Joo Vice President of JEJU Air, Mr. Eric Fong Director of Marketing Department of Macau International Airport Co., Ltd. (CAM), Mr. Lee Soo Taek Executive Director of Korea Tourism Organization, Mr. Antonio Barros Macau Airport Director of Administration of Airports Ltd., Ms. Anabela Barros Commercial department of Menzies Macau Airport Services Ltd.

CAM attends the Symposium of the New Opportunities for Zhuhai Modern L

The Symposium of the New Opportunities for Zhuhai Modern Logistics after Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge’s Completion hosted by Zhuhai Government was held at Venetian Resort, Macao on 20 October 2016. Mr. Frank Wu, Acting Director of Logistics and General Aviation Development Department has participated on behalf of Macau International Airport Co., Ltd. (CAM). The aim of the Symposium was to gather the industrial representatives from logistics and express associations of Hong Kong, Macao and Zhuhai to explore the cooperation opportunities and to discuss, analyze and exchange the views on the trend and opportunities after the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge’s completion.

CAM’s Brainstorm Meeting for Strategic Target of 2017

Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM) held a brainstorming meeting on 18th Oct 2016, Mr. Ma Iao Hang – Chairman of the Board of Directors and Dr. Deng Jun – Chairman of the Executive Committee together with company leaderships conducted an in-depth brainstorm meeting. The meeting was hosted by Dr. Deng, with discussions around CAM's strategic target of 2017: Clear Goals, Rigorous Organization, Orderly Procedures and Tactful Implementation.

Macau International Airport Representatives Participated in the World

The 22nd World Routes Development Forum organized by United Business Media Group and hosted by Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport Forum took place in China Chengdu from 25th – 27th September, 2016. Representatives from Macau International Airport Co. Ltd. (CAM), Mr. Eric Fong, Director of Marketing Department, and Mr. Daniel Lam, Manager of Marketing Department represented to participate in this Forum. This year’s forum gathered 3,000 representatives from 110 countries around the world, including over 230 world’s leading airlines, 470 airports and more than 80 national tourism organizations. This premier industry event is the largest scale so far organized. The goal of this event is to promote national culture and tourism with one-on-one networking opportunities, as to strengthen the communication between airports and airlines for future route development. Airlines sent representatives from route development and planning to understand the operation of each airport and the potential of the city, as well as to conduct in-depth research about the schedule and slot requirements of each airport.
